WE LEAVE NO ONE BEHIND!

ORIGINS

The Blue Water Area Fallen Heroes Banner Program was brought forward by Ed Weichsler, Project manager and U.S. Air Force Veteran and an elite student leadership class project from Croswell – Lexington High School as a way to honor the commities' military heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice to their country and promote civic pride,

St. Clair County has over 630 service members who died for their country from World War I to the current date. The community banners will feature the fallen hero’s photograph, name, rank, branch of service, war conflict (if any), age, and community where they resided. These beautiful, patriotic banners will be displayed three weeks prior to and including Memorial Day each year. They will not be used for any other public display, promotion, or fundraiser.
